Lisa Neubardt (she/her)
Executive Director
lisa@tbshastings.org

Lisa Neubardt is a former practicing attorney who left law after 17 years to run her own business, a bakery/café, located in Pelham, NY. Twelve great years later, the ovens were turned off for the last time and she embarked on a new career path working in non-profit faith-based organizations; first in the office of the President and Chief of Staff of Yeshiva University, then as Executive Director of Greenwich Reform Synagogue and now most proudly at Temple Beth Shalom.

In conjunction with work life, Lisa has served on the Boards of various local organizations. She is the current President of the Board of her synagogue, served as President of the Junior League of Pelham and has run major fundraising events for the Pelham Public Library and the Pelham Art Center. Lisa is also a disaster assistance volunteer for the American Red Cross. Lisa is an avid runner, having completed seven marathons, countless half-marathons and other assorted road races. She can also be found swimming many mornings at the Greenwich YWCA. Lisa and her husband, Andy, are empty nesters but for a precocious Goldendoodle still living at home.

Sarah Gregoire (she/her)
Director of the Early Childhood Center
sarahg@tbshastings.org

Prior to joining TBS in 2023, Sarah served as the Founding Director of the JCC Preschool at Greenwich Reform Synagogue in Cos Cob, CT. Growing up in Northern Westchester in a Reform Jewish home, Sarah knew from a young age that she wanted to devote her life to children in some way. She earned her BA in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and went on to earn her Masters in Early Childhood Education from Smith College. After graduate school Sarah taught first grade in the Darien CT and Mamaroneck NY public schools.

When Sarah’s own children began attending a synagogue preschool, she immediately fell in love with the warm sense of community and Jewish values being introduced in the classrooms. Sarah knew that teaching in a Jewish preschool would be a rewarding way to return to the classroom and provide a nurturing and engaging learning environment for the very youngest of learners. As the ECC director, Sarah’s goal is to foster developmentally appropriate and meaningful learning experiences for children, while simultaneously supporting their families and nourishing the broader Jewish community. Sarah lives in South Salem NY with her two boys and her dog, Hazel. She loves to cook, enjoy live music and comedy, and spend time with family and friends.
