Gather

Good food. Good drinks. Good conversation.

WHY

The Jewish people love good ideas and good conversation.

What

Gather is an initiative of Temple Beth Shalom designed to meet the human needs of building relationships and deepening feelings of belonging.

How

  • Become a part of a small group (12-15 people) who Gather once a month to share good food, good drinks, and good conversation.

  • No prior Jewish education required; no pre-reading necessary.

  • Topics will be variable, flexible, and responsive to the interests of the group: everything from the rise of antisemitism, to Talmudic views on political correctness, from the deeper meaning of Passover, to the Israel-Hamas War – or anything else we can dream up..

WHERE

We will Gather in the TBS library – and/or, if participants are open to hosting, in one another’s living rooms.
